Beginners (white belt – blue belt) Your grade school children will learn all the basic Taekwondo Karate kicks and punches and learn basic forms/techniques. All our students have lots of fun and learn how to be better in karate and in life. Island Martial Arts holds regular promotion boards where students will show parents what they’ve learned and achieve new belt-tips and advanced belts. The Karate Masters and Instructors also review all the kids’ regular school report cards! The students are rewarded for a job well done (and encouraged to do better if needed). Advanced (purple belt and up) We go over all the basics from Beginners Ninja Classes (above) plus more! Spinning tornados kicks and jump kicks, hand techniques, advanced forms and advanced Karate fun keeps kids motivated and interested in the awesome art of Taekwondo. It’s at this level that we also present opportunities to be chosen for our IMA Demo Team, where we perform in many places around the island to show off our skills! Our Beginner Junior students (7years and up) will also have the opportunity to achieve their black belt (Poom Belt)!
